The Champions Cup Final in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) DGL 2012 first leg playoffs, brought to you by Dell Alienware, Megarom and Monster Energy, ended up being quite an affair as impi took home the win with some significant scores over Vitriolic. Marco 'peWpeW' Erasmus from impi deserves special mention too, for reasons outlined below. Obviously that practice paid off. Vitriolic took a pretty good lead in the first map playing as Defence, but suddenly impi turned the tables and equalised the score and started taking the lead. The trend continued as they swapped sides and this seemed to have demotivated Vitriolic quite substantially. “Quite honestly, I’m of the opinion that Erasmus is one of the best SMG’s in the country,” he says. “Look, ultimately they’re a good team. They out-stratted us and everything we were doing just failed. GG well played to them, really. It was a great game.” |
